Banilan fabric is inspired by “tapa,” a traditional fabric used in regions such as Hawaii.
Although it has a coarse, linen-like appearance, it is finely and densely woven, with surface texture that reduces contact with the skin, resulting in a cool and smooth feel.
It can be used for a wide range of purposes, from spring and summer garments such as aloha shirts, samue, and jinbei, to accessories and small goods.
