Chemical lace is made by embroidering onto a water-soluble base fabric, which is then dissolved to leave only the embroidered thread pattern.
Its elegant and sheer decorative design makes it recommended for dresses and blouses.
Since it is made entirely from embroidery thread, it can also be cut into individual motifs for accents or edging.
